WHAT INVESTMENT FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE?

The Baptist Foundation of Colorado is pleased to offer four investments for your consideration!

Short Term Investments

This investment fund functions like a Money Market fund.  A church is allowed to withdraw and deposit monies into this account.  The interest rate is variable and can change monthly.  The minimum investment is $1,000.  These monies are used to help churches construct new buildings and therefore we can offer a rate greater than local banks.  Funds are invested in a large pool of loans, and are not used to fund any individual construction loans.

Fixed Rate Investment

This investment fund functions like a Certificate of Deposit.  We offer one, two, three, four and five year investment opportunities.  The minimum investment is $1,000 and these investments have a fixed rate.  These monies go to help churches with their permanent loans.  Funds are invested in a large pool of loans, and are not used to fund any individual permanent loans.

Long-Term Investments (LTIP)

This investment portfolio includes Exchange-Traded Funds (stocks, bonds, REITs, etc) and church-loan funds.  The minimum investment in this portfolio is $5,000.  Due to volatility we encourage churches to not invest in this portfolio unless the church is willing to leave its investment in the portfolio for five years.
